Thanks for befriending and making the connection. This is a good site that has some true potential. What do you think? You wrote that you put forth alot of time and work into the green paradigm. What exactly keeps you busy? I have been doing work in water quality and organizational development. Now I am transitioning into some new endeavors and projects. I am trying to keep it all related to sustainability.

It is good to connect and I hope this offers us the opportunity to bond and get to know each other. Suddenly Indiana doesn't seam so lonely for environmental stewards.
Love and Light

Yes , the home tour is just May 17 and 18 with a twilight tour of the neighborhood mansion on the evening of the 16th. But, you can get a private showing if you'd like! :) We do like the Marmoleum thus far. Very cushy for standing. We did put a little scratch into the surface, but I cannot imagine what we wouldn't be rough on with a 3 year old, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and two adults, ya know. The rolled Marmoleum is also very beautiful and has some very interesting patterns...but, you need a very even/level floor (i.e. new construction, not a 90 year old home like ours) to get it even and smooth.

We will not be going to Green Festival this year as it falls the same weekend as our neighborhood home and garden tour (our big fundraiser for the neighborhood). The tour is titled the "Habitat Tour" to highlight our IWF certification and other green initiatives....so, they want our kitchen to be on the tour. By the way, I'm not sure what photos you have of the kitchen, but I can send you more. I sent several showing completed portions, but only recently is it completely finished.

Oh gosh, I remember meeting you now...Thanks for remembering. It was a Global Gifts, if I recall correctly now. We LOVE sunflowers around here (tried to attach a photo of our sea of sunflowers from last summer, but couldn't get it to work...maybe I'll post on my site). Glad that our paths are crossing again.
