About Me:: Work: Freelance B2B writer and editor for a variety of clients. Former newspaper reporter/environmental beat (The Times, NW Indiana); PR agency senior writer, manager of B2B corporate/industrial environmental communications projects; and editor and columnist for the trade media.

After 25 years in the business, my focus in recent years has tended toward corporate-level and B2B environmental protection initiatives, including pollution control engineering and regulatory topics. I gravitate toward these areas -- and have since well before the climate crisis became part of (thanks in large part to Al Gore) our mass political consciousness -- because I find them fascinating.

Education: Master's, journalism, IU-Bloomington; bachelor's, anthropology, Pomona College of the Claremont Colleges. And I'm a Berkeley High School graduate -- go Yellow Jackets!

Personal interests: My kids, long and strenuous hikes, the national and state parks, my garden, my kitchen.
