Profile Information

About Me:
I have always loved nature and have felt a deep connection to the earth. I am very passionate about conservation and "greening up" the commercial, throw-away world that we live in. My family & I (my husband and 2 dogs) love to canoe, hike, bike, swim and camp. I currently work with the FW Parks & Rec. Dept, teaching children about nature, ecology, sustainable living...

Cute nature girl pic! I am glad you found me. I would love to come to one of your education sessions! I love the kids too! I am planning on attending the DNR Masters Naturalist Session at IPFW extension office in Feb and then attend Purdue W. Layfayette Watershed Leadership Academy in Jan-May. I am working on an update of everything I have been working on for the last year. I only update the website in the winter. The real river work is too important to just be locked in the house. I would love to send you an update when it's ready! I love to find like-minded people in the world! God Bless your work!

Wow! Tony is one of my heroes. Please tell him Robin says hello! How do you like working as the Outdoor Rec Coordinator? I'm a teacher at South Side (English, ENL --which is one of the many acronyms for English as a New Language.) This is only my second year, but I'm getting my sea legs, and really like the work.

Well, I hope I did this right and you are on my "friends" list. It's really good to know that there ARE locals who care about the greening. I see you are connected to FWParks dept! Do you work with Tony?

Oh! I forgot to mention, there is a Pirate Party Float next Saturday on the White River. It's sponsored by the Hoosier Canoe Club. It runs from Noblesville to Carmel between 12:30 and 6p. After the float is the PARTY! It's 10 bucks for the party but includes live music, dinner and soft drinks.

Hi Nature's Ally! I just received a friend request from you, but when I tried to link to the page, it was not there. I then did a search and found you under Natures Ally (no apostrophe). I don't think we've met in person, have we? Were you looking for Fort Wayne people with whom to connect?
