- I am a retired forester and arborist and graduate of Purdue's Department of Forestry and Natural Resources. I currently own a vacation cabin rental business in beautiful Southern Indiana, located near Patoka Lake. Our vacation cabin rental business aspires to educate our guests as to environmental issues at every opportunity. Our 160 acre properties include more than thirty acres of tall grass prairie and seventy-two acres of healthy forests. All acres are managed for diverse wildlife habitat, good forestry practices, clean water and recreation. We financially support our Orange County Recycling Cooperative, Lost River Food Cooperative,
The Nature Conservancy. The Sycamore Land Trust and Historic Landmarks of Indiana.
