Yes. I became a member here several weeks ago. But haven't found the time to work on my profile, etc... yet.
DR here, I have found the netmetering information. If you don't mind I will post up the information in www.AGreenerIndiana.com/group/EnergyResource which is an open forum for this information.
I also wanted to take this time to ask if you would be willing to pop up a profile for your organization and upload its organizational cornerstones and information. This would give an interactive stop and view for the travelers transversing through the site and will also result in more hits to your own site as well as developing volunteers, support, in-kind, and publicity.
If Indiana created the best climate for people to be able to tie into the grid with micro generation of wind, solar, etc and be able to make money on this then someday (hopefully soon) new technologies will emerge that enable people to make money by producing renewable power.
When the innovation occurs then people would generate power and green energy would wash over Indiana. This would support a huge number of jobs as businesses sell and install the equipment.
Thin film solar, home made or cheap wind turbines, hydrogen fuel cells, etc are all improving and one day people will be able to install these and produce electricity cheaply. I hope Indiana is ready for that day.
Mandating production of clean energy and other legislative approaches are great. Building huge wind farms are nice. I think that microgeneration is equally as important.
Hello, I'm Nova
I have been running an alternative energy myspace site for about 7 yrs now.
I came across this site when the owner added me as a friend. I am very excited about this site. For now most of my stuff is on myspace. I will be trying to move alot of the info. to this site over the next few days. I finally sprused up my page to look like something I would be running. So hopefully people like it when they visit. Hope to see ya on there and Have a great day.Spread the word out if you can.
Your friend,
Nova
Good to see you here. We saw each other recently at the Paul Gipe seminar on Wind Energy and previously at the Need To Go Green Conference. I am interested in helping out how ever I can on pushing the new net metering law that you and HEC are working on. Send me a message with some details if you can and a copy of the bill.
Using this site is a good way to keep the movers and shakers notified and involved. Talk to you soon.
Be well,
Derek
