This interactive program and Potluck will feature an update and discussion on environmental issues in the Lake Michigan Watershed of Northwest Indiana that are being impacted by Indiana as well as federal legislation. Learn about legislation that was passed in Indianapolis and how it impacts the environment.
Staff and Board members will also update you on their recent trip to Washington DC to lobby for clean water initiatives in the Great Lakes.
Area legislators have been invited but are not yet confirmed.
For the Potluck, we are asking everyone to bring their own re-usable (no disposables please) plate and flatware. Drinks, cups and napkins will be provided. Please bring a dish to share according to the following suggested scheme:
Last name letters A-E: Appetizers
Last name letters F-K: Salads/Pasta/Casserole
Last name letters L-R: Vegetable or Fruit
Last name letters S-Z: Dessert
A free will offering will be accepted to help support unfunded programming and activities of Save the Dunes.
