Help Us to Speak for Your Rivers…For Your Rivers Have No Voice....

Dear Save Maumee Supporters,

I have accepted a nomination for the Upper Maumee Watershed Management Group Chair Committee as Treasurer on November 19, 2009. In this position I am able to continue to work on Save Maumee and continue to keep this new steering committee progressive; both of course as a volunteer. This group will be working on the rivers and tributaries that start in Fort Wayne at the headwaters of the Maumee River, then tails into Tiffin River in Defiance, Ohio.

I am asking you to write a letter for The Upper Maumee Watershed Management Group. I would like it to be one page (at least) on how you feel about our 3 Rivers in Fort Wayne/Allen County/Dekalb County/Defiance County. You could include things; you have read in the paper, pipes you see, prioritize what you see as most important for the rivers, rumors you speak with your friends about, ask questions & hold entities responsible. Be nice, but your view WILL BE HEARD! Please help us to keep this group aware of our citizens’ views.

Thank you for taking a few moments out of your day to help us with this task.

Don’t forget to date your letter and include your address.

The river thanks you from its bottom,

Abby

I would be happy to draft up a letter and challenge my friends to do the same. I hope all is splendid with you Abby and I hope to be in the Fort sometime soon. Let me know if there are other ways that I may help.

I understand Ellen! Anytime sister! I am constantly side-tracked with life! I would really be sidetracked with a sewing room like yours!
