About Me:
BLOW BABY BLOW...NOT DRILL BABY DRILL.

I'm a huge fan of WIND TURBINES and green tech anything! I want to learn more and hope to do so here. Please send info and links!

I have found a few sites that offer green building classes but are out of state and quite expensive. If more information is shared, resources for training, we all can have a great impact on greening up the city and the nation.

My forte is administrative and would like to play a support role in this new age of technology and/or field photographer to help get the word out about events and breakthroughs in Indiana's race for green. (See post below!!)

I'm a PC geek, a photojournalist with over 20 years experience, online activist, a recycler, a big reuser (most folks just think I'm cheap), a green thumb and naturalist. I think Thoreau would have made a fine president.

Learning stages...and need input!

I've neglected this page far too long. After speaking with Derek on Facebook and the myriad of things that have happened in the course of this new year - it is time for me to look elsewhere for people not just wanting real change...but creating that change.

Slacktivism is dead...there are many things going on for Haitian relief in Indianapolis and I am proud to know the people trying to make this happen. This undertaking is about being world citizens - people whose hearts are in it, not just their mouths.

I have learned a lot of social media ins/outs and can help spread the word for those organizations who are worthy of that through my outlets, which I am willing to share. The Road Home Music Project is preparing an online radio hour (hopeful for more time slots) to share local music with a message and to get the word out about the fine work of people like Derek, A Greener Indiana, KIB and other non-profits and charitable organizations.

The benefit concert is scheduled for February 28th - after this event, I am attending a protest in Washington DC to end the war/occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan and take photos of what I feel will be a historic march - people are very frustrated with Congress and their decision this past week, health care, unemployment and the environment. I'm certain many will show up in DC to have their voices heard for many issues. I would like to invite anyone that would be interested in attending to email me directly at agoldenpromise@gmail.com. If a group bands together on behalf of Indiana's finest organizers, I believe it would be a fitting story to tell and capture on film.

I've always tried to teach what I know to others, although, I admit my experience is intermediate with green technology at best. I'm here to learn as much as I can to pass on to others. People are hungry for this knowledge but may not have the time to research, I'd like to deliver it where I am able in the future - with The Road Home Radio Hour and my writings.

Current nightstand reading:
Eco Nest / Creating Sustainable Sanctuaries
Plants, Power and Profit
American Indian Environmental Ethics / An Ojibwa case study
(also reading a lot about Quantum Physics, music and sound therapy)

Any information is welcomed - share what you know and ask questions!
Thank you for your time!
Namaste,
Gabrielle

I will be trying to move alot of the info. to this site over the next few days. I finally sprused up my page to look like something I would be running. So hopefully people like it when they visit. Hope to see ya on there and Have a great day.Spread the word out if you can.

Thank you for becoming a member of AGI, you are most welcome here. Feel free to make it your place and invite your friends to take a look and see what they think.

What are your strong points in environmental awareness? Is there a particular arena or field we could help empower you with? AGI has a staff that is able to offer full support and assistance that environmental work and issues, community and economic development, advertising, promotions, web design, and programming. Have a question or a request. Dont hesitate.

The idea here is to support you in helping to support communities and Indiana as a whole to make the change over to more sustainable practices and equilibrium.

Besides the resource based environmental arenas of: Land, Water, Air, Energy, Policy, and Advocacy. There are many other fields that are interconnected to sustainabiity including recreation, health/wellness, agriculture, community development, economic development, products, arts, and humanities.

You can share your awareness and activities in any of the above through many facets this site offers and will soon offer. Chat around, friend up like minded individuals, post, blog, make groups, are just some of the ways in which you may interact and utilize this site to tool your work and passions.
