Snowmageddon, Snowpocalypse, Snowtorious… going a little extreme with the puns aren’t we? Either way, naysayers to Global Climate Change with an education matching that of a grade student are defending their denial by linking a winter blizzard during “WINTER,” as proof that the warming affects of Global Climate Change is a hoax. Yeah, you sure their IQ doesn’t stand for Idiotic Questioning? Look Global Climate Change is a world wide systemic problem that will negatively affect every single biosphere on the planet if we do not act accordantly and immediately as a global village. No region will go unaffected. Some Bio-regions will warm, some regions will cool, dry regions could experience flooding, forested regions will be damaged due to drought. Drastic man-made climate change surpassing that of the natural cycle causes a shock wave assault on all forms of life, disrupting the fragile balance of all interconnected life. Combine this with the mass unsustainable consumption of man and we are going to choke ourselves our as a species and take most others with us. The evidence that Global Climate Change is occurring exceedingly faster due to human influence is undeniable. SUCK IT UP Naysayers, its time to accept the death of your politic! The second step after Denial is Acceptance. All of a sudden the wave of anti-environment, anti-reason, anti-intelligence PR blitz accompanying this winter storm certainly brings a whole new revelation to these doomsday puns.

It's Finally Starting to Happen Getting electric cars to market is taking longer than a lot of people would like, but manufacturing on this scale is long and expensive. It seems like a couple years ago, everybody was coming up with electric concept cars but almost nobody was actually taking actions to commercialize them. Now we seem to be entering a new phase: Companies are working hard to find financing, build/retool factories, make partnerships with battery companies or bring that expertise in-house, etc. Certainly a step in the right direction, though widespread adoption of EV will still depend a lot on oil prices in the next 5-10 years, and on battery technology improvements. Once again, a carbon tax (revenue neutral would be best) would help make this happen much faster. As long as people don't pay directly for the cost of air pollution and global warming, the playing field won't be level with clean(er) technologies.

About Me:
I believe that everybody can do something to make a difference. That it is everyone's right and responsibility to create a future of everlasting sustainability, established abundance, and enduring health for the community and environment we share.

All businesses, organizations, and citizen stakeholders are invited to join hands and participate together in this great act. I do my part as the founder of A Greener America, a resident at a developing eco-village, contributing to various projects, and as a Creative for Events, Music, Art, Movies, Fashion worldwide.

We are now facing a moment of truth. A precipice of unprecedented danger and opportunity. The time to activate is now.

Currently the two largest affects Global Climate Change is producing is 1) The harshest self defense mechanisms of the Earth, 2) The largest activation of citizens around the world united by a shared awareness and spirit of stewardship.

Our work together will be accomplished by forwarding good ideas, inspiring innovation, promoting positive communication, increasing capital, and the co-creation of cooperative and collaborative bonds. By coming together during this special moment to make history and celebrate its universality we become able to cross any political, cultural and ethnic barrier. We will bring people together in peace, in friendship, and in stewardship of our Earth.

The Life and Death of Mr. Green

To master advocacy one must master adversity.

To master your perspective one must master the art of Anamorphosis.

The video "Life and Death of Mr. Green" directed by rising talent Timothy Garrett and starring musical troubadours from Carney, Evan Rachel Wood opposite of Reeve Carney (Broadway's next Spider-man, Julie Taymor's rendition of the infamous love story of the masked hero and Mary Jane) and was shot on the set of HBO's Carnivale in the California desert. A Natural Cure For Those That Bug You.

Cockroaches can be a problem, even in the best of places. The ones in Florida are nearly the size of condors, but even they are rather intriguing if you can get over your prejudices and look at them without that theatrical shudder we think we are supposed t… Continue

Derek,

Vine & Branch sponsors a Green Award with the Carmel Chamber of Commerce which seeks to recognize those who are leading the way to a more sustainable future.

Businesses, non-profits, community organizations, individuals, schools and government agencies are invited to submit nominations. Applicants are considered for the Green Award by demonstrating projects or internal operations/practices that are environmentally responsible and that positively benefit Carmel.

We are looking for nominees is there any way to publicize this? http://www.carmelchamber.com/images/ChamberForm&Reports/09GreenAward.pdf for the nomination form. We would need it back by the 15th of October.

Thank you for what you do!

Hi, Derek! Would you believe I JUST saw this message from December? Sorry! I didn't know I would get messages here. I have been a member of the American Taekwondo Association since 1998. I've never seen any serious injuries, since our goal is to play safe and have fun. Thanks for writing!

Hey Derek! Yeah, I am a NEV dealer here in Marion. I sell a pickup truck, van, and a sedan. I'm in the process of revamping our website, but check out www.milesev.com. Our NEV's go somewhere around the 50 mile range per charge. Built in battery charger, zero emissions, about .01 per mile to operate. I'm excited about them. I'm actually getting ready to hit all the Universities and a lot of municipalities as I can in the coming months. Do you happen to have any contacts that I could call upon? Let me know! Nice talking with you.
