Profile Information

About Me:
I was raised with an appreciation for the environment. I think it was also intrinsic to my person (I've always loved animals, and I never liked to eat meat - I've been vegetarian since age 15). My Mom took us on wonderful picnics in the park, and my father liked to take us hiking. Mom also always reused and recycled, and I have continued the tradition.

When I met my husband I was introduced to camping, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, and bicycling, and then I really fell in love with the outdoors. We started www.IndianaOutfitters.com to help others find the great outdoor resources we have here in Indiana. Since then we have been fortunate enough to expand on that and make a living exploring and promoting what we enjoy.

I never feel more peaceful than when I am out enjoying nature and wildlife, so I want to do my part to make sure the next generations can find that same peace.

Hi Cara, You have a good thing going here! If everybody applied the Seventh Generation rule, this world would be a lot healthier and a lot happier; at peace.
